June 16, 2019 at age of 83. Cy is survived by his loving companion Sue, daughter Ellen Palczyk (Rick), son Larry Kloner (Linda), his 5 grandchildren, his great-grand children and many friends and colleagues.
Cy was a US Army veteran. In 1957, Cy graduated from the University of Buffalo with a degree in Pharmacy and is the previous owner of O’Brien’s Pharmacy. Cy decided he needed more career fulfillment so he choose to pursue a career as an attorney. Cy graduated from University of Buffalo Law School and was admitted to the bar 1975. One of our favorite “Cyisms” was he used to say this was the 1st bar he ever passed. He actively practiced Law for over 40 years.
Cy was very involved in the Damascus Shrine and the F&A Masons. He was a Past Potentate of Damascus Shrine as well as serving as their attorney. He was Past Master of Flower City Lodge 910, served in Scottish Rite Valley of Rochester, Past Commander of the Legion of Honor, member of International Association Legion of Honor Parliamentarian and Recorder Emeritus of the Damascus Shrine. Cy was also a Past President and Treasurer of The Pharmacy Society of Rochester.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Highlands at Brighton E unit. Your compassion and care was a saving grace.
The family will have a private graveside service.
