Awww Syd! It was such a pleasure working with you for the few months that I was at The Landing of Brighton. You always had a smile on your face, no matter what time of day it was. One of my favorite memories was on Mother's Day when we discussed important women in our lives. When asked who the most beautiful woman in your life was, you said without hesitation, "My wife." It was so sweet and sincere.
My friend and neighbor. Rose and Sid were the first neighbors to introduce themselves to us when we moved to Gaslight Lane. They remained steadfast friends for many years. When my mother passed away they continued to guide and support me emotionally; I referred to myself as their "adopted daughter". I visited Rose in two rehabs. and tried to advocate for her. When Sid moved to the Jewish Home I visited him and enjoyed an afternoon group activity with him. I have a 12"x15" print they gave me of a cat lying behind a goldfish bowl; I look at it each day and cherish it.
